Training in Advocacy

The tutor stages a full mock trial during the course of the module.

Training in advocacy introduces participants to the art of persuasion, speaking succinctly and the skill of “thinking on one’s feet”.

The Public Access to Law course being presented to transition year students in Ireland has proven to be very successful.

“Teachers continue to inform me of the positive and lasting impact this course will have on their students. As a former teacher I can understand this as it is the only forum to provide students with a learning experience of law as seen through the eyes of the practitioner and a platform to develop a wide range of talents”

Vincent P. Martin, B.L., Director, Public Access to Law.
